About Me
From a sound engineer, to a miniaturist.
My career path has been quite an unconventional journey. An ECE grad and former sound engineer, I discovered my passion for making miniature food back in 2011 when I wanted to make a pair of burger earrings for myself. My mother taught me the basics of clay modelling that day.
What started as a hobby turned into a full-time profession when I launched my brand Sueño Souvenir in 2011 and the rest is history. Driven by my passion for food and my love for miniatures, I have handcrafted thousands of Indian food miniatures, paying attention to every minute detail in proportion, texture, and colour, trying to make them look as realistic as possible. It is an ongoing process and hope to perfect my art some day.
My work has been featured on BBC, The History Channel, Atlas Obscura, The Hindu, NDTV Goodtimes, Times of India, Mashable, Buzzfeed and more.
